24h of Spaß und Liebe

The"VDE 24h Challenge" took place from the 10th -11th of October 2020. The aim of the challenge is to cover as much distance as possible with a Formula Student racing car. Each team had to organize an area for the race independently beforehand and together with GreenLion Racing from the University of Wuppertal we were allowed to start in the bioenergy park Saerbeck, 100km away.

On the days before the Challenge, we put everything into it with two of our cars, the FS219  and the FS213, and we were able to do so by hard work and many late hours. After a short journey, it was possible to cover a distance of 483 km with all three vehicles at the end of the first day.

We were able to finish the whole challenge with only small technical problems and minimal driver errors with an incredible distance of 733km!

During the Challenge we were also visited by Saerbeck's new mayor Dr. Tobias Lehberg and the Westfälische Nachrichten, who even wrote an article about us and the Challenge:

We are incredibly grateful that we were able to participate in the Challenge and are extremely happy and proud that our two cars have endured such a strain.
